agree, I have several Ithaca's from Joe Loy and despite missing his signature " asterisk every characteristic of this guns work screams Loy.

Perhaps we are quilty of ignorance very similar to the old mentality about all Damascus steel barrels being unusable and dangerous.

Charlie I am in the same camp as you. My Jap Sweet 16 seems ok but nothing any older than that.
