I have that exact same setup that I bought on here a number of years ago. I could not be happier as it fits my needs. This will make someone a good loader at a very good price.

I have that same gun in a 1955 version. Been my squirrel gun for 35+ years. IIRC, $450 was the asking price back then and with a trade and a little haggling, I was out the door for $250. You got a goo ...

Very sorry for your loss. The good ones that live along while seem to hit particularly hard. I grew up around bird dogs and for a variety of reasons most didn’t make it to old age. The few that did se ...

Just curious... Where is the load data for Cheddite paper shells or any other paper for that matter?

Many thanks, John.

I use the 16 for near everything I hunt with a shotgun except turkey but I’ll probably use one for that in the future. I think it is close to the perfect gauge for small furred game and not overly so ...

Putz, if you decide to sell off any of your hulls that take the 157’s, I would be interested and don’t need that many. I would use them for hunting so 25-50 would probably work.
Also, I have those ...

Thanks Charlie. I have about 600 that I want to put to use. I have some old Remington Peters hulls but wondered what others out there may work?

So I did a search here, consulted Lyman’s 5th and looked at BPI archives for load data for the 16 gauge. Can someone point me in the right direction to find any data using 157’s?

Thanks, John.

Thought I would pass this along as there are 800 157 primers for sale on LRH classified. I have no relation to the sale.

Thanks for this info. I went over to RGL’s several years ago because Cheddites would not reliably eject from my 1148 or M12. So are these “new” Remington shells the same length as the old or maybe I m ...

Not a pump but I squirrel and rabbit hunted with a Belknap 16 gauge for several years and still shoot it occasionally. It belonged to my Dad.
