Probably can't add much to what's already been said but that is one beautiful 31. I hope you enjoy that magnificent gun.

So I’m kind of late to this party but I picked up 2 Partial 8 pound bottles/kegs of Greendot from an estate of a deceased man. By the looks of his stuff, he must have been quite a shooter. Anyway, I v ...

I have that same gun in a 1955 version. Been my squirrel gun for 35+ years. IIRC, $450 was the asking price back then and with a trade and a little haggling, I was out the door for $250. You got a goo ...

Very sorry for your loss. The good ones that live along while seem to hit particularly hard. I grew up around bird dogs and for a variety of reasons most didn’t make it to old age. The few that did se ...

Many thanks, John.

I use the 16 for near everything I hunt with a shotgun except turkey but I’ll probably use one for that in the future. I think it is close to the perfect gauge for small furred game and not overly so ...

PostForum: 16ga. Ammunition & Reloading   Posted: Sat Jul 06, 2024 8:59 am   Subject: 157 load data?
So I did a search here, consulted Lyman’s 5th and looked at BPI archives for load data for the 16 gauge. Can someone point me in the right direction to find any data using 157’s?

Thanks, John.
