SS is right on the mark. There's tons of information around, plus people who are well versed in the M12, it would be time well spent to find someone to walk you through this and check your gun over. ...

Wow!

All that over recoil?

Frankly whenever I think my 20 or 16 seem to slap me a little too hard, I have an old Winchester M37 12 gauge single shot. A few rounds through that and I’m once ag ...

I’ve used 5 shot for a long time now. During the past few years I’ve gone almost exclusively to Golden Pheasant loads in 16 ga although I have one older M12 that I generally shoot lighter loads in. ...

Speaking for ME!

I shoot the M12 16 gauge exclusively and I haven’t noticed that I’m handicapped in that choice when compared to my friends shooting Bennelli and Beretta autoloaders in 12 and 20. ...

Looks to me like I’m slacking in the rifle department, but I don’t deer hunt anymore so the Remington and Winchester mostly gather dust.

Remington 700 300 win. mag
Winchester M70 270
Ruger 1022 ...

Put on one of the slip on recoil pads for 10 bucks or so Wink

That'what I did with my M12, I like it because:

You don't have to cut the stock.

Plus if you are hunting on a really cold day a ...

My concern was two fold, first, if the TM would hurt the barrel of the old gun like steel could and secondly if there was a difference in the performance of one from the ...
