We know copper won't hurt barrel walls on old guns from late 1800's.
Do we know if Bismuth will not harm barrel walls on old guns?

I have used boss copper plated bismuth through both modified and full choke in vintage side by sides without issue

Where the thin spots are does matter. Thin spots farther down the bore nearer the muzzle, but not too close to the choke do not concern me as much as nearer the chamber.

Have you measured wall thickness, while possibly made lightweight it could be the result of polishing bores and refinishing the browning that it arrives at 6lb 2oz.

Put a box aside, the best condition etc, then shoot the rest. Unless you are dove shooting you maybe surprised how long a few boxes last.

I have found the RST shells kick more than my reloads, given some weight of lead 1oz. That said RST shells effectively deliver birds in the hand
