I shoot my Browning 16 ga all the time for Sporting clays. Everybosy else on my squad uses a 12. Lot less felt recoil with the 16 IMO. |

For what it is worth, I have had primers get squeezed on the sides when they got stuck in my Spolar and the did not go off. IMO the primer has to be hit on the bottom to go off. |

If it could be done and I have my doubts, it would probably be cheaper to buy a M 21 16 gauge or a Perazzi 16ga. Each to their own but I'd prefer either of the 2 guns mentioned. Just my 2 cents wort ... |

I agree with fn16ga. If it was my gun I would cut the poly off if the barrel would be at least 26" w/o the choke. Would then have it rechoked by a competent barrel man. |

You won't find one for $4000 unless you're really lucky but if you want to stretch the budget, I'd suggest you buy a Perazzi 16ga. It was a limited run but they are a great gun IMO. |
