| Gil, I built the same style of tracking board but with a stepper motor turning a 1/4-20 threaded rod. Shot Hale-Bopp, Hyakotaki (sp) and Halley's. Worked great and still have the board. |

| There are trackers available at modest cost that mount camera to tripod and eliminate star tracks in longer exposures. Check out bhphotovideo.com or other such sites. |
