Huskies are pretty much all I shoot. Some are heavy, some aren't. I've had 16's that weigh around 6 lbs, and others around 7lbs. They made great guns for 300 years, so there are lots to choose from ...

Nice find! With that line border engraving it reminds me of a Lefever G grade but with hammers. Cool.

I could be wrong, but it seems like the lack of market share for 16ga offerings is self perpetuating. I rarely buy off the shelf 16ga ammo because [affordable] off the shelf ammo is rarely available ...

This is a major reason I like round body hammer guns, especially small frame round body back action ones. Carry comfort is amazing.

I'm a bit surprised only 10% of upland hunters list the 16 as their favorite gauge. I can't think of a more perfect upland gauge than the 16.
