If I'm local, within 30-40 miles I don't bring a back up but if I'm going farther than that or for overnight I ALWAYS carry a backup!

I've shot quite a bit of S&B in 270 Win, 7x57 and 6.5x55. It's been good ammunition, takes LR primers and a lot easier to find than some of the others.
