| We hunted northeastern MT. I was amazed at the number of Block Management Areas in the state. There was lots of quality habitat to hunt with good numbers of birds. |

This is my first Montana bird hunt as well as Bruce's first Montana hunt. He really enjoyed the huge numbers of birds, which he is not accustomed to here in Idaho. The gun is an Uggie 16.

I got my new 16 ga. out over the opener for Sage Grouse. Someone said on one the the forums about the Uggie Gr.1 16 gauge, "It's a bird killin', laser guided, death machine" I agree.

| You may want to try the Sierra Nevadas for Blue Grouse, I think you would have to go pretty far north in CA for ruffs. |
