Have you found changes in the powders that produce higher/lower pressures/velocities?

Higher velocities, which would inevitably yield higher pressures. A newer lot of blue dot yielded muzzle velo ...

FWIW, with all the testing that has been done with the new lots of Green Dot, the 1995 is probably ancient history, which is why it has been deleted from the newer data.

I am not saying that you sh ...

It's the same powder as titegroup; Hodgdon gave it a new name to encourage shotgun reloads to try it. I'm using it in 12g 1 oz and 11/8 oz loads, and I made up a 3/4 oz 20g load - tested by precision. ...

Extrapolating from available 12g 1 1/8 oz. data the burn rate probably close to green dot. Would work for loads 3/4, maybe 7/8 oz. with pressure tested data. One issue is that, (assuming it's the same ...

I hunt grouse/woodcock over Springers, and use 1 1/8 #7 handholds. Late season grouse I'll switch to 1 1/8 #6

Trying to drop it down without using corn pops, oats, Metamucil or any other filler.
Suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

I'd recommend Cap'n crunch for effect. I'd avoid Kixx bec ...

+1 on the new A5. Well under 6#, even the 28" model. Definitely get some recoil mitigation from the action; felt recoil a bit less than my 7# Rem M31.

I've done 1/2 ounce shot and 8 grains or red dot, or similar fast burning powder, and lots of filler wads in 16g. Could also use those 1 3/4" Aguila shorty shells in 12g, they're not very loud.

Ballistic Products has RIO primers. I picked up 3000 a couple of weeks ago. I just checked their website and they still have them, $62 per 1000.

I bought a sleeve of RIOs years ago, still have a pa ...

FWIW I wound up with way more CB0100-16 wads than I would ever need (I don't like the recoil of 1oz loads). I found that 1/2" 20g fiber filler wads from circle fly fit in the bottom of the shotcu ...

I wonder if the base diameter of the wad they're using is larger than an R16. You typically get a fair bit of powder migration with Remington R16/SP16s in a Cheddite type hull.

LOL on the BPI!!
I am not a big DownRange lover, heck, we had to come up with the data for the DR16. Some of their wads 12S0 and 12S3 clones down right suck. I don't have a lot of confidence in DownR ...
