I have seen the same degeneration of selection since the buy-out. But it may not be a total loss. I have noticed in the past their selection of ammo drops way off after hunting season and ramps way up ...

Yes. Looks like minor depressions to make sliding the shells in easier.

I shoot both but seem to go to the Green Dot a lot more than the International.

I have two. One, the 12 gauge, I have had for over 50 years. The other is a 1959 Sweet 16. Vent rib, 28 inch barrel, Modified choke. Wouldn't change a thing. It has definitely pushed the 12 to the bac ...

I have MECs in all the gauges except 10. Unless loading a huge amount of ammo, I like the single stage. I know progressives are faster but I had one and I always seemed to mess something up. Unscrewin ...

The vented supposedly acted like a muzzle brake to reduce recoil. Not sure it did much. I put one one a Browning A5 with the vent. I was worried the vent would retard the barrel in recoil and cause ma ...

I have a big stockpile of reloading componants, but still had to grab a bunch of the 16 ga 1 1/8 oz #5's. $6.88 a box was too good to pass up.
I'll go back to reloading. The addition of the Herter's ...

It's private land not public land. Landowners have a right to determine who has access to their property. Kansas has had this law for years. If you want to hunt on someone's land, you are required to ...

I would not touch the chokes. You said you reload. That is the clue. The least reliable indicator of what patterns a gun throws is what is stamped on the barrels. Ammo will determine what the pattern ...

Cabela's is going to hell, but if you haven't gotten in on the fire sale on their Herter's ammo, you better hurry. I just got 8 boxes of 16 ga 1 1/8 oz #5's for $6.88 a box delivered free in two days. ...

For whatever reason the single boxes work out cheaper then the price of a flat. I just ordered 10 boxes of 20 gauge for $4.88 a box. Added 1 box of 12 ga 1 1/4 oz #5s at $5.88 to get the free shipping ...

Not sure you actually mean a raised Monte Carlo comb. Do you mean the cheekpiece on the side of the stock? I am not sure the raised comb is that common on Germanic guns, while the side cheekpiece is o ...

We lost our dog a few months ago after 15 years. Not a hunter. Just a mutt. Or, since we lived near the Comanche Reservation in OK, a Comanche Wolf Dog. Or so I told people who asked. A little puppy l ...

I was just on it. No problem.
I haven't had too many issues with people there. It usually has pretty good info. Particularly the reloading stuff.
