My experience with Kent T-M loads, all 2 3/4 length shells:
I have shot the Kent T-M #3 loads in my 12ga Ithaca model 37, vintage 1956 with good results.
We have shot their 16ga #5 1-1/16 oz load (which is listed on the box as a MAX dram equivalent) in my sons model 37, 1947 vintage with no problems.
And the T-M 20ga in an old Remington model 17 that has a 5 digit SN which probably places the date of manufacture in the late 1920s. (My dad told me that they bought the gun sometime in the late 20s or early 30s.) Again we had no trouble with the loads either on the birds or the gun/action.
I hope this helps. |
