Up for sale is a nice sterlingworth. I would like to see it go to a worthy young upland bird hunter, not a collector or a person to flip it over for profit. Would like to do a face to face sale with someone from penna. Will give you the specs , pics via email and really good price. Many a good old hunter gave me a deal when I was young now it is my turn to,return the favor.
Send me a message here for email address. |

Central pa. I have been lucky my life and have many a fine upland 16 ga.
A sterlingworth is a good start for a new bird hunter. |

Gentlemen,
A Sterlingworth is beyond me right now, but has been a dream for a long time. I just wanted to let you know that I am a Central PA 16 ga. fan....I'm in the Julian/Milesburg area if you get into this neck of the woods the coffee is always hot! |

Greg, I applaud your attitude about putting something in someone's hands to give it a good home, rather than have them turn a profit on you. Good for you! The "Good Karma" train will be headed your way soon.
I too have a Sterlingworth on my list of things I'd like to pass to my sons as my dad shot a 20ga that was his dad's before him. They are classics. If I was near you for a FTF, I'd love to visit with you over a beverage and discuss these old guns.
Good Luck! John |

I got a couple good candidates. I want to do a face to face hand it over. Too many good guns end up in the cabinet of only fortunate people and never see grouse. I know I got too many myself!
A Sterlingworth is actually a cheap fox as compared to a grade fox, but it has all the correct features of any fine well balanced , light upland gun. Money alone should not determine the fate of a fine gun. I can't even buy 22 rim fire ammo now because of all the speculators. Will keep you updated, and after the sale will let the owner post pics. |

I know Idaho is a long way from PA, which impedes your desired face-to-face sale, but I can attest from personal experience that sl93z would meet all of the other attributes desired in a purchaser of your gun. |

Whats the price, year and description of your gun??? Year, weight, DAC, DAH, barrel measurements, choke measurements???? Is the finish original, both metal and wood???? I am sure you would like us all to know so that we may make an informed decision on your gun for our child. |
