At a gunshow this weekend I found a Winnie Model 12 in new condition. The gun is circa 1958 and still has dried up packing lube on the striker face and throughout. I was susipcious that it might be a reblue but on furthur examination, found it to be all original. chap showed up at my table wanting to sell it for his father. 28" Mod bl, no rib. Appears to be on a 20 frame. He wanted $325 Canadian for it and I happly paid that. Measored the choke with my gauge and found it to be closer to Imp cyl with no evidence of alteration. Anyone shooting these |

Mod in a 16 Winchester will likely be around .010" or even a little less, this is what Briley gives its IC tubes in 12ga and 16ga. With quality shells it'll probably pattern Mod, other shells should give IC. Pattern it and you'll know, but either way looks like an awesome purchase! |

You should be ashamed of yourself for stealing a gun like that, and immediately ship it down here to Colorado for Redemption. |

If you want to part with it just let me know ! But if you rightly decide to keep it, best wishes for a lifetime of enjoyment of one of the very best 16 gauge shotguns ever made ! |
