This past week I had the privilege to meet two members of the 16 GA Society in Independence, MO. Charlie is the owner of the C.R. Gunshop. The other gentleman either works there or was visiting ...he also was a pleasure to speak to. I needed to replace a triggerguard screw for a SuperFox in order to send it home. I found the proper screw shape and size at the hardware store. Charlie not only welcomed me into the shop so that I could get the screw blued but let me use his polishing equipment to remove the zinc coating and the use of a heat source to blue the screw. It came out famously!! Sorry guys, I am really bad with remembering names . Your faces I remember though. Thank you to both for your welcome and help.

Well done, guys!

It's things like this that have earned this site the reputation it has for being the friendliest, most welcoming and most gentlemanly gun-related site on the net. Because being a gentleman goes hand in hand with a 16ga, of course.

But you already knew that.... Very Happy

I'm down to 16 Gauge and the Parker Gun sites. The others are like talk radio, a lot of blabber and damn little courtesy. Good post, Dennis.
