WilliamLarkinMoore just got in an early Hunter Arms 2E LC Smith. Honest wear but no evidence of attempts to refurbish. 28" brls XF/XF. DT, SFE, original LC butt plate. I didn't weigh the gun but it felt less than 6 1/2 and really balanced nicely and good dimensions. It actually felt better than the 16g VH Parker they want $4900 for. Case of course faded but engraving quite crisp. It's not yet on their website and I know nothing about Elsies but it sure was a sweet gun. They're asking $3200 but the asking is always fairly high there and they do deal.
Also heard Dave Moore tell a guy they had a used 16g Garbi. |

Thats a fair price for a pre 1913 Smith. Were there any cracks in the wood at the rear of the side plates |
