Well, I posted back in February that I was looking for a A.H. Fox 16 gauge C or CE grade. I received emails from some folks on the forum trying to help me out. Thank you for that !
I have not been able to find the Fox that I've been looking for But, I did run across a model 21 Winchester field grade in like new condition. I guess the Fox will have to wait. I'm very pleased with the 21. |

Really interested in seeing your gun!!
What vintage?? I am just really getting to know my new Model 21 field grade and so far I definitely think my kids will be selling mine when I croak. It's just great!!!
Not a svelt hunting gun but will be terrific for targets and heavy pheasant loads. |

It's a late 40's or early 50's gun 28" Vent Rib barrels F&M . Pistol grip to Winchester Butt plate. I will try to get some pics on in the next few days. |

Any chance you can come to the 16ga Shoot in St. Paul on May 16??? There will be a couple Model 21's there. Lots of 16's of all varieties. Lots of shooting other guns too. |

We could easily have a squad of 5 Model 21s at the Sweet 16 Shoot. I know of at least 4 that will be there. Of course, it's also fun to see other different guns there.
Redlab - without pics it didn't happen. Please share your excellent new toy with us.
Regards,
Jeff |

I'd bet that gun's vent rib is a rare option for 16s from the production years. |

Scroll to the top and go to the thread titled 2015 Sweet 16 Shoot. It's not a tournament and I don't think most people even kept score. It's just a great time to see and shoot lots of different 16ga guns. Everything from bolt actions to really fancy expensive stuff.
Some photos from last year are here:

I will also be at Medford for the first time this year. I'm looking forward to that. |
