Good Evening- I want to post my dog's picture, not sure if it is right however this is the first try. I'll figure it out,

She's a sweet Baby 10 months old tomorrow. We hope to get her trained and at least coarsely ready to try some birds. Probably try Pheasants on a preserve first, maybe a little quail Action after a few goes at the pheasants/chukars

Great looking dog and post more pics! Sebascodegan's setter pup and mine are both 11 mths. We need to get them together. I hope to go up to the High Desert Hunt Club www.ymcahighdeserthuntclub.org north of Cordes Junction 2-3 times before heading to KS early Nov (if it ever cools down Confused ) When do the preserves open down your way?

Good Morning-The preserve I am going to opens in September I believe, Desert Pheasant Recreation http://pheasantrec.com/. It stays open until March, might be late February. They offer Pheasants, Chukar and I thought I read Bobwhites. The first two for sure. Your Pooch and Hagrid are Pretty babies, I just love the look of a setter. I would love to get them together, chase some Quail, run some roosters. Have you got any more pictures of your pup posted?
Thanks Chet

Unless you wnat your dog ruined for life, don't let her near rev's kat/dog. Lock her up, hide her whatever. Other wise all your hard work will go to waste. They don't call rev's pup, "kat dog the coruptor" for nothing.

I'm really gettin' jealous here; all this setter activity down there in Arizona and me left out here in Maine. Guess I'll just have to make due in the woods this Saturday....

By the way hunshatt, "Labs drool, Setters RULE!" (Gotta look out for my Setter brethren Wink )

(Rev, you don't really have that dog wear a sweater, do you?)

...and Fluesy, she is a fine looking Setter. I'd like to see more pics as well.

Seba, The Lab drooling thing is way true, for Beau the super slab. My g-friend calls him drooly dog. We have to put towels around his water dish and keep one handy after he drinks, then makes his way across the kitchen, so We can clean up.

Where's Harpswell?? I'm supposed to head up to the fryburg area the following weekend for a little pa' trige shooting with some friends from up there.

Far as Rev and Kat/dog, you sure you want to include him as a setter??? I figured him to be more of a squater...

My last Chessy had need of a bib more oft than not...those retrievers must just have larger carrying capacity [for duck & such) which brings about that "malady".

Harpswell's about 20 minutes past Freeport (LL.Beans) if you're on 295. Due East from Brunswick. I'll be hunting up North near Skohegan this weekend, but being the good dad I am, I'll be attending my son's Cub Scout campout the weekend of the 14th.

Is this your first time hunting the Fryeburg area? Bet that's a nice area, close to the White Mtns and all.

Now lay off the Rev's setter, he's just.... friendly ... that's all. Probably very confident in his masculinity... Laughing

Friendly??? I was thinking challenged(as in rides the short bus to dog school)

I've hunted the fryburg are a few times. Usually stay a buddies condo in conway , then run over to meet Ebon and Karen. They train Labs, so Beau gets to see what he's really supposed to be doing, instead of whatever it he does.
Good woodcock, but the grouse are a bit off.

Far as the Chessy, well Beau's kind of a dwarf Lab. Big old head, and jowels but a smaller body. 75lbs.
