All:

Here are the pictures of my gun. I really want to thank Doug and everyone on this site for motivating me to buy it.
I know I will enjoy if for the rest of my life and I believe the 16 ga will be here for years to come.

Thanks,

You are gonna love it. The 16 ga. Citori Lightning really is one of the best 16 gauge O/U guns ever. I'm certainly not alone in this opinion, regardless of all the other opinions flying in from everywhere. Rolling Eyes Laughing .

16gg,

Thanks for the input you have given me on all this stuff. My son is chomping at the bit for the pheasant opener in Minnesota next weekend. He and Becky have both shot clays with it and they say it is wonderful. I asked Pat about any rust or rattles like I read about here and he said it's perfect. Can't wait to get there to do it myself. Cool

Things are going well here. Our troops have some nasty rats cornered. A tough job but they are doing it very well. Proud to be working by their side.

I understand and we really appreciate the efforts you folks are spending on our behalf. I just hope it does not go on too much longer. We need all you fine people back here with us safe and sound. Keep your butt down and your head on a swivel. You and all the rest of the fine men and women in harm's way are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. If I could I'd be proud to be shoulder to shoulder with any of you. My heart and my spirit are. Always will be.

Why are the barrels on top of each other?? All the "REAL" guns I've seen or own have them next to each other .

16gg,

Thanks for your kind words. You are always an inspiration to me in many ways. I really like your French Proverb.

I do love sxs shotguns but try to find one of the same quality and price as the Citori. When I told my wife about the rising cost of sxs shotguns she suggested I invest 10 grand in some quality sxs's. I told her, I wish you had said that 5 years ago when prices first started going up. Over the years I've seen gun prices rise and fall depending what is popular at the time and sooner or later sxs's current popularity will fall and that will be the time to buy. Their will be a lot of guys wanting to dump their sxs for some future fad. I'm not talking about the die hard sxs lover but the guys who bought them after reading an article in some gun rag.

Huh!! you have me now young Skywalker. What in the Sam hell are you referring to there Thudd? Please refresh my aging and shrinking powers of recollection--unless it was one of my ever increasing fits of delusion. Rolling Eyes Laughing
