You know it is when:
The grocery store has 20 or so 20 deer corn feeders right next to the entrance
Plenty of sacks of shelled corn stacked under them for your convienience
and 20 tripod mounted deer blinds/stands on the other side of the door
The convienience stores have sacks of deer corn and a new supply of ammunition
The "welcome hunters" banners are streched overhead across the US highway that runs throuh town
all the garages have camo painted safari trucks in lots of interesting configurations in front of the shop ready for their annual "get it running again" services
ah, Texas, & especially South Texas
all is right in the world tday ( Well, at least west of US 281 )
