The Header cut date off-shoot is 10/22 not 10/2!

Sounds like a lot of fun. Too bad I can't make it. Good luck with the shoot.

TJC and all-
Certainly could be a long way to travel for a one day shoot. Maybe this shoot gives you some ideas for an event in your area?

Everyone is welcome at this shoot and no special memberships are required--only a 16 gauge shotgun.

Best wishes-

If more events of this type start taking place across the country, I predict a 16 gauge resurgence beyond our expectations. Manufacturers may even sit up and take notice. Wink

I would hope that this shoot would be the first of many 16 gauge events.
There will be a special 16 gauge event at the National Classic Shotgun Festival in 2007, and more events to come in Ohio.

Our 16 gauge event drew some die hard 16 gauge fans, despite the terrible weather! High winds and driving rain squalls made for some interesting target presentations in the a.m. then the wind started blowing too hard for it to rain in the p.m. No perfect socres were recorded in either Trap, Skeet, or 5 Stand events, but we all had a great time. Most shooters used their game guns in all events--no dedicated target guns were present. Everyone enjoyed the format, and we will do another!

Good for you for making the effort anyway Hal!
Maybe the red gods knew if the weather was nice and the 16ers broke all their targets EVERYONE would want a 16g Very Happy ( didn't that sound like a pagan Rolling Eyes )
