friday afternoon i had a BIG rootie come blasting out of a brush covered drainage ditch next to a corn field, quartering away to the right , about 30 yards out.
emptied both barrels of the 12ga cissitori and watched him fly away unharmed..only 2 empty hulls to show for my effort.
i keep wondering what the outcome would have been if i still had the 870?
probably the same |

Wingmaster withdrawls. When you find the right, sweet litte double, they will pass.
Did you send that bird in a Westerly direction?? Pheasant season don't open here, ti'll the 11th. |

870 16gauge,
"i keep wondering what the outcome would have been if i still had the 870?"
Well I can't speak for you, but I probably would have only had more empty hulls!!! |

87016ga.
Scour the used gun shops and get another one! I love 870's and think they are the best value possible. Not being a rich man, I buy what works for me. Also, I work for Rem. as a machinist. Milling 870's recievers of course! |

Hey Timberdoodle! Mill another pound or so off one of those 1100 16ga's. and send one to me!
I've never hit a rooster on my third shot, however, I took the plug out of my Sweet 16 yesterday for an upcoming quail hunt!
