Forgive my indulgence, but I am 1) testing posting pictures, and 2) showing off my project. This is a bed I just finished as a wedding gift for my son Ben. He is my hunting partner, and the bed is from really nice walnut and walnut burl veneer.
The headboard panels match the top of a hope chest Ben made for Becca last summer. Just needs a few coats of laquer, which my brother will do, and ready for delivery. The Rev suggested a stock for the Sterlingworth next - maybe.

Thanks again for letting me share. |

Thanks for the kind words. Now all I need to do is see if I can make a stock look like, well.......... a stock
Making a stock is an entirely different kind of woodworking than I have done in the past, but maybe this winter. My big projects are all done in the summer, because they must be done "open air" (read this as "He has no shop") |
