I'm selling a Savage 220D, NOTE* project gun, in outstanding aesthetic shape a couple of honest dings in forend wood, full case colors, some tiger striping in butt stock. 16ga (of course), 2 3/4", 28", 0.630" Full. $150 shipped.
ISSUE* the hammer won't stay cocked.
Was going to bling this out as a dedicated Trap Gun & it worked fine for a while in that role but it's obvious the action isn't robust enough for constant target use.
I purchased the required parts off Numrich which will sell with gun; Hammer & Sear + 2 extra Firing Pin Springs, figuring I'd replace the spring while in there.
In the mean I bling'ed out a Rem870 for singles Trap and enjoying the heck out of it, thank you 16davis, so this 220 needs a new home.
PM with your email for pics, thanks, Mike
