I.ve been registered here for a while but this is my first post. I've been lurking and reading here for a couple of years. I recognize some of you from other forums that I read.I have three 16's left in the safe, all Ithaca 37's. A '51 with a poly choke , a '64 26 IC and a '70 that I put together to suit me. It has wood from the late 1940's with a 28 modified barrel. I just sold my Remington 48 Sportsman at the last gun show. I have other guns but I always seem to reach for one of the 16's. I really like the fact that there are no arguments here like there are on other boards. |

Welcome! Agree. Also agree in your choice of guns and you will get no argument from me
While I have other guns too, and other gauges in the M37 my 16 ga. guns of choice that are in the safe are:
41 37R 28" Mod
49 37 26" IC
62 37RVD 28" Briley thinwalls
99 King Ferry 37 English stocked Ultralight Deluxe
First shotgun I owned which my grandfather gave me was a 37 in 16 ga. Spent many years messing around with other guns and after almost 50 years seems like I ended up right back where I started. |
