I’ve got 3 different sweet sixteen barrels marked improved cyl.
One has .009 of choke **- plain barrel 26”
One has .014 of choke **- vent rib 26”
One has .o15 of choke -** vent rib 26”
One mod barrel** .023 of choke plain barrel 28”
These measurements are relation to the bore size.
Do any of your sweet sixteen barrels measure these dimensions?
Thanks

My Mod bbl is about .017". Are the IC stampings of your barrels all marked as **- or are any -**? |

Makes it worthwhile to measure any and all barrels to know for sure. A shortcut alternative to actual patterning anyhow.
I dug through past posts to find the IC barrel on the 3-shot I briefly owned measured .010" and was marked **-

I have a '56 vintage Sweet with 26" vent rib I/C that measures .017" with a Skeets bore gauge.
That would usually be considered a tight Mod. |

Readgriff,
Here is my measurements from a post sometime in 2014.
Glad be helpful, although I'm a bit envious. those Browning's are always tight for choke. I have two mods. one mikes out at .022 constriction the other at .024 a friend has one that has .026, that's almost full choke at least a good improved mod. I have three imp. cyl. all mike out at .012, some would say that is a lite mod. I like them.
I would do the imp. cyl. at .012 |

Looks like the measurements are all over the place really with the IC barrels.
I also have two full choke barrels Vent ribbed that measure .034 and .035 which are really tight.
Thanks Readgriff |

Once owned a '52 Standard 16ga A5 with a full choke that measured .042"
The full choke tube that came with my Citori measured .043" The rest of the Invectors were in line with what is considered normal restrictions for a 16. |
