The DRGM mark is similar to a patent stamp. The Habicht may have been a lower priced model in Sauer's lineup, but that doesn't stop it from being a good gun. To me the wood, especially the forearm looks a little odd for a Sauer. I wonder if it's been restocked? Even if it has, the price is right, especially for a pre-war ejector gun.

Yes, restocked gun but seems well done
No swivel hole in buttstock
and beaver tail forend,
But nice looking, the stock job alone is worth the price.
I do wonder about the drop of the stock

At first I suspected a retail outfit, but no.

"D.R.G.M." was a mark for a registered design used for "utility" models adopted in Germany in 1891.

If you like German guns, solid ejector guns like that are hard to find.
