I assume these blue AA wads are no longer available. What high volume wads for low shot weights are available that are similar to the AA blue wass?

The Claybuster wad is interchangeable with the Winchester wad- I presume Claybuster purchased the rights to it from Winchester since the only differences are the color and markings.

The blue Claybuster wad is a clone of the Winchester WAA16. The WAA16 was made for 1 to 1-1/8 oz of shot. You can use it for lighter (7/8 and 3/4 oz) weights by inserting a 28-gauge fiber wad split to the needed thickness in the wad cup. The patent has long run out on the various Winchester and Remington wad designs.

A Claybuster R16 in 7/8oz fitment would be very nice.

Speaking of Claybuster WW 16 clones. Are they interchangeable with Remington SP16 for 1 1/8 loads? I don't get powder migration in Federal hulls with em.

Far as I know you can interchange them with WAA16 wad data but not SP-16 wad data.

A lot of guys myself included use the DR16 from downrange. It has collapsible legs can load 3/4 to 1 oz. I use it in the Cheddites for 7/8 oz and Remington for 3/4 oz. I still use the SG16 and R16 for 1 oz loads.

I use the claybusters for 7/8 tov1-1/8. For 7/8 I put a 28 gauge filler in the bottom of the wad cup. I like the DR but not for 1oz. Also the claybuster wads is a lot cheaper than all others and I have no problem with migration with the over powder filler I make.
Also has anyone used the granulated Vectan powder yet.
