Any knowledge or opinions on whether Bass Pro will continue these shells? |

Cabelas carries them. Since Cabelas is now BassPro, then yes. |

I bought a case today, one ounce of #8.
That was the only case of those at Cabelas in Rogers Mn. They did have other loads of Herters 16 ga. |

Ordered a case of #8’s last week. 10% off, free shipping. Just can’t get myself to buy at regular price unless desperate. Good shells. But boxes are crap. Might as well put them in a paper bag. Three boxes were busted in a case of 10 with only minor handling damage to the box. |

boxes are crap aren't they.
I ordered a flat from Cabelas and what i got was 10 loose boxes, in a bigger than need be box????
Some of them had opened in transit and there were many loose shells in the box, several of the boxes had been taped up by whoever shipped them. I thought about just sending them back. but I don't rebox my reloads anyway. |

Herter's order came today. Case, boxes, and shells arrived in good shape even though the boxes are cheap. I'd post a celebratory picture but haven't registered with a photo-hosting site. 16ga dove loads delivered to home for less than $6.75 a box including tax with the discount, free shipping, and used some Cabela's bucks.
HAPPY DAY... |

Since they are the same hulls with same internal dimensions only different color, any Cheddite reloading data will work in the Herters hulls. |

I reload them with either 1 oz of shot and 800-X or 1 1/8 oz of shot and Longshot. I have used 7/8 oz with Green Dot as well. For less than 7/8 oz I use old WW CF hulls.
Yes, the boxes are awful. My reloads finish slightly longer and will barely squeeze into the boxes and even then I sometimes have to tape the lid. The loads fit easily with no issues into other boxes, even boxes from the 60's. |

I load one ounce with a Unique.
The crimps split after 2-3 loads though. |
