<  16ga. Guns  ~  are win model 12 barrels interchangeable?

found a barrel with mod choke and would like to interchange it with the IC choke barrel I have now. it comes with the mag tube and pump

I looked in to this issue 2 years ago and from what I remember they were fitted together at the factory so the short answer is not likely. You might find one that does but you would need to check headspace and make sure the slide mechanics are good and tight. Sorry I don’t remember more, just remember thinking cheaper to have second M12 than have one fitted.

There were roughly 6 to 8 different sleeves if I remember correctly from the factory and unless you have the right one your in for a up hill fight.

thanks, that`s kind of what I thought when I saw it on the Louisville armslist for $150, also any interest in selling your browning white lighting?

Model 12 is adjustable and can interchange if you or your gunsmith kwon how to do it. I've owned 3 and purchased second barrels for each. Simmons had a lot of them 20 years ago & they were only 15 miles away, so they got a few of my paychecks.

sometimes ... sometimes they go right on with a slight adj ... if not , you can usually take the sleeve off the original barrel and put on the 2nd barrel .. I bought a 2nd 12ga mag barrel for my 12ga , and I had to go thru 3 m97 sleeves till I got even one that fit !!!

all it takes is an adjustment sleeve tweek. its all pretty simple.
btw..i have a cyl basket case front end for sale - wood. if youd like to go cyl instead of ic, lmk.
