I know its early, but if for some reason not enough interest comes about, I do have another group coming the week prior to you guys for an any gun any gauge event. we can move them back and combine the two together for a bigger shin-dig.
the shoot is far enough out in the planning stage, that we all can flex to benefit the most people.
again, i know its early and we only have 3 signed up so far. but we are hopeful we will make it happen, one way or another.

Been a while since I've logged in, genetally just read. I am really interested in attending, sounds like a fun relaxing time. At the moment that weekend is blacled out for us to take vacation but i expect that to change in july. So. , please put me down as a maybe! And how does "vintage skeet" sound as an open game? Id be up for either weekend too.

based on the majority of people bringing 16ga guns...I'd say the whole meet is already vintage! Laughing maybe is maybe. we'll take it.
let us know as soon as you can.
we need 10 to pull this off and we are stuck at 3.

if filling the shoot with strictly 16ga shooters turns out to be a task, would you all be offended if i found some 12ga and 20ga shooters to join you?
i got someone from minn that would like to join the shoot.

the other 12-13-14 oct meet faltered. I just got some cancellations.
it only has 2 people left. im going to cancel it. I know those people pretty well, and the regulars have always held it together. when the regulars cancel....its never a good sign, so 12-13-14 is off the books. your 19-20-21 oct meet is going to be the focus.
if I can get some shooters, and they don't have 16ga guns, either we loan them to them, or just have two classes of competition.... 16ga and all others.
its final. the vanzant shoot will be 19-20-21 only.
the tribe has spoken.

Bobski, I hope you get enough to have your shoot. I'm sure it would be literally and figuratively a blast. Someone mentioned to me that you are a hell of a good shot and it would be fun to see you shoot. Like I mentioned earlier, the timing for us midwestern hunters couldn't be worse. I always make the most (upland) hay in that month long period from mid October to mid November. Sacred time!

Dave, I can attest to the warm weather we still have here in October! Last year when I went to bobki's shoot we were all wanting to wear shorts but nobody had brought any and we used up the sunscreen anyway on our exposed arms and necks.
To those of use who have lived in what we know as the "midwest", meaning Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri and Kansas, maybe even Illinois. It is hard to call states up along the Canada border as being "Midwest". Nothing against the northern states but the media has again caused us to lump everybody in to one group. Heck people in Missouri or Kansas would have a hard time communicating with you folks up in the frozen north Wink
