I just started in on a big batch of green Remington Express hulls and they are loading great! If you have any you'd like to sell give me a holler!

Those are my favorite hull to load followed by Federals. What's interesting is there's no adjustment needed when switching back and forth. Once in a while Precision Reloading has them in stock. They're pressure test hulls. I've bought 500 in the last year.

What wad and recipe are you using for these? DR 16 or a Winchester clone from CB?

I use the SG 16 wad from BPI. with 14.8 grns. of Green Dot and 7/8 oz. of shot. The only difference being a Federal primer in the Federals and a Win 209 in the Remingtons. I load on a Mec JR mark 5. The Remingtons are picture perfect and the Federals have a very, very slight dished crimp. Very low recoil and will work in cold temps. All I shoot for doves and targets.

Mark, yes, these are for the Parker & Fox. These 2 3/4" Remingtons were loaded light with 7/8 oz. and 14.5 gr. Int. Clays, CB 0078-16 wad, W209 primer. I dropped a couple bushings, then ran 10 over my chronograph for 1144 fps average. My normal load is around 1250 fps, and that's just more peppy than it needs to be for the old-timers.

Then that day my MEC short kit came, so I reloaded my short RST hulls with the load you shared and they were perfect!

Yesterday at Medford I shot up the last of my factory RST loads and the reloaded RST's with your recipe and they seemed identical. I shot them in all three of my 16 gauge SxS's. Thanks! Nice load!
