I used it once on a trip to South Dakota for Pheasants, and was thrilled to take a cockbird with it that my shorthair pointed. I just prefer guns with two tubes, and fewer moving parts, and need to make more room in the safe. Send me a PM with your email if interested and I’ll send you photos and answer what questions you have.

I think that he is trying to comply with the rules Smile
A rare thing these days Shocked

4) NO negotiation on GunTalk. Any negotiations between seller and buyer should be handled privately using the Private Message (PM) feature of GunTalk via E-mail.

5) Additional posts should only seek further information about the 16ga. gun in question. NO posts are allowed that critique or editorialize the Author's intent, motives, or competence. This forum is intended to be a friendly posting of 'want ads' and should not merit responses that can be taken personally.

BUT I see no harm in asking for pertinent data to be listed with the particular gun attempting to be sold Embarassed

Yes, my motivation was to comply with the rules. That said, I certainly could have provided a little more information that what I did. I'll update the post to include basic description and other stuff.

Listing the pertinent details of the subject shotgun for sale is not violating any rules, (heaven forbid), it is common sense to tell the prospective buyers what you have to offer.

Made in 1959, 27” Imp. Cyl. Special Steel barrels 2-3/4”. Wood and metal good overall, one blemish on barrel. No ventilated rib.

I doubt you are giving it away, what are you asking for it?

$400.00 was a heck of a good deal for the buyer.

Yes, I thought so too. I wish some others had bid on the gun as well, but it takes two people to have a real auction.

Hawkeye, I wish you had spoken up earlier. There was just one bidder on Gunbroker for my sweet sixteen and the guy got an absolute steal!
