Those of you who know the reputation of this company might find this an interesting purchase. I don't think they imported guns here. I think just individuals brought it back from Europe.

Hammer gun
16g.
Built April 1938
Weighs 6lbs 2 oz.
28 3/8" barrels (obviously built to metric system)
Ferlach, Austria proofs
Choke is IC/Mod
Krupp barrels
Quality gun from a famous maker.

I am asking $1900. I spoke to two dealers at the Northeast SxS event a few weeks ago at Hausman's Hidden Hollow and they both said the gun valued about $2500.

For more pics and info contact me at

mfitt(at)optonline.net and of course replace the (at) with @

1 1/2", 2 3/4", 13 1/2"

I do a lot of patterning for point of aim and this gun is spot on for me. I use a slip on pad for sporting clays but not when I hunt. It is a joy to carry.
Shiny bores, extractors and nitro proof and forcing cones were lengthened.

Builder,
good thing I didnt see that gun at Hausmanns, or it might have come home with me. Sorry I missed it--beautiful gun. I shot hammer guns most of the weekend including my little German 30" 16 hammer--not quite the quality of yours, and a Parker O frame 16 hammer.
I love that shoot, and usually am camping in the back field( silver Ford with blue canopy). Stop over next year and introduce yyourself.
Harold

Way too short for me. How was the Parker O frame? I bet it swung like a dream

Harold,
I did not offer it for sale at Hausmann's. Just talked to the dealers about value. Did you go to the Southern a couple of years ago and shoot at Drake's?

Hi Milt, sure I remember you--I saw you at Hausmanns this year, but in passing on my Gator. Sure is a very nice , high quality gun. If I hadnt recently picked up my German 16 hammer w 30" cyl/F chokes I wpuld be interested. Mine also has the cheekpiece and sling swivels, is nicely engraved, but not the quality of yours. Hammer guns are a hoot guys, and this one is nice.

Can you post a pic of the barrel flats and also the top of the action closed when you get a chance? 70mm chambers?
