Sounds like my dream gun if it only had a POW stock. How about posting some gun porn pictures for all the gun lechers on here (me included).

As soon as I get it I will take and post some pictures. I wanted the English straight stock and had ordered that on my Dickinson. I personally never like the POW grip, but that is personal taste.

Other items also the same as my order, except this has a single select trigger, while the Dickinson had a Single Trigger but not selectable. Same Oil Hand Rubbed Finish, same 28" Barrels and Same Forend.

You can see the gun on line if you go to the site for Quality Arms in Houston. That is the one.

Congratulations. Isidoro Rizzini makes wonderful, high quality guns. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

Good to here that you found something you wanted. Dickinson makes great guns but who wants to wait over a year to get one. I think the import company is run by the Red Rose monkeys. I will be very interested in your opinion of the FAIR.

I was really hoping for the Dickinson, first for being able to order it the way I wanted it and second as I understand it, when you order from the custom shop, you get upgraded wood and a trigger job. The Wood on the Rizzini looks Ok, so I am anxious to see how the trigger is or if I will need to have it worked on like the one I had on my 16 gauge Ringneck, which came from the factory over 12 pounds.

Save a few bucks over the Dickinson too.

They do not offer a Skeet Choke, but it comes with CY/IC/Mod and I ordered and extra CY, so it should be fine for the casual skeet I will shoot with it. They do offer IM/F also.

Probably will not have it for a week or so, but I think the pictures are still up on Quality Arms, Houston, teaxas's site.

I guess I lucked out when I ordered my custom Dickinson 16 ga, but back in 2014 it only took 4 months for delivery of this beauty. It constantly amazes me when people with money they are willing to spend can't find a way to get the supply/manufacturing processes to work. I tried to get Dickinson to build a 16/20 ga combo with engraving and French gray finish, and they would not take the order, saying that AKUS had lost their engraver and couldn't build the gun. It is very frustrating at times trying to get a gun you want and are willing to pay for. I guess I'm just fortunate to get the one I have.

Very nice.

I waited patiently 7 months to find out that the order was on hold and never started and would be another 7 months or more. The Dealer I used said that this was his second problem like this in a row with them and will no longer place any custom orders. If you order through Dickinson USA for the custom shop, they want 100% payment up front. With this mess and the waits, no way I would do that, so hopefully the Rizzini will satisfy by 16 Gauge SxS itch.

[quote="rkittine"]Guess there not in production any more or at least not being imported by Tristar. Anyone have a 16 they want to part with?

I have a very rare 16 gauge for sale. It is a S/S Lincoln Jefferies made in Birmingham, on the same street as Purdy. Made in about 1934-35. Chambers have been increased to 70mm, but not marked. DT, EXT, choked imp cyl & mod. Four years ago I had the "V" spring replaced which operates the under bolt and thumb lever. The original broke when I was shooting trap. I had 4 more targets to shoot and did so by moving the lever to center position which engaged the bolt. It is rare because a world wide search has found one without engraving but proof steel barrels for $10,000. A new soft pad had been installed when the spring was made. Gun weighs 6 lbs with slight cast off for RH shooter. 28" barrels with perfect bores and about 80% engraving on action.

I don’t know where Purdy shotguns were made, but James Purdey and Sons, Ltd. has been in London since 1814.
