16 ga L C Smith Field Grade by Hunter Arms, Fulton N.Y. Serial # FW 129213 which I believe to be a 1927 mfg. Barrels are 28", labeled Armor steel, show no rust or pitting. Sorry but I have no way to measure chokes. Best I can measure LOP to front trigger 14 1/8", to rear 13 1/8", DAC 1 9/16", DAH 2 5/8". Weight on digital food scale is 6lb 10oz. Cosmetics, pitted spot rt barrel, 2 very small cracks behind lock plate on rt side, butt plate repaired @ toe and there is a line from a slip on pad. I hope photos show condition. This is a shooter grade gun that still presents well. I have never shot this gun, just happened in to it years ago, seems I always grab my M37---
Asking $600 +$30 to ship insured to your FFl from a non FFL
Please Email for photos, posting them is beyond my abitity
Thanks, Frank |

This thread generated an amazing amount of interest, over 2100 views with only 7 reply posts, and those 7 were mine and Pierrepont's.
For closure let me say that the two of us finally made contact. (Computers and email address's can be so picky about input data) . We did make contact and an exchange was made. I for one am very pleased.
Sorry guys...just because there are no photos attached does not mean that it is not worth investigating.
Howard
p.s. - Great website with wonderful members. Gotta love all the knowledge and the civil manner in which members communicate.
