So its been a long time since Ive actively posted, but I was still around. Thanks bbrown for inspiring me to post a few photos. There are many reasons for the lack of post, but primarily I switched from a computer to tablet only. Frankly, I still haven't figured out how to use it to post photos.
Thats not the only thing Ive switched up. Last summer I took on a 11-48 project and brought it back to life for the 17-18 season.
I have to say, it has served me well.
The trusty model 12 still got its fair share of time in the field.
I couldn't dig up any 'gun and garden' food shots, but trust me these boys made some incredible field meals.
I'll have to sort out a work flow using the iPad and posting. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. For now it feels great to be back. This is a special community, and I'm honored to be a part of it.

Great to have you back, though most of us are stricken with jealousy every time we see your photos! |

Thanks for the pics! I am glad I could inspire you. It has been a while since I posted as well even though I read here almost every day. It looks like you are still enjoying the good life, and I love that shot of the Model 12 and two dogs so focused on the birds. Well done on bringing the old Remington back!

Nice. Those photos remind me of my Nevada hunting back in 2012. A whole covey of good memories. |
