I posted this on DoubleGunBBS but thought y'all might find this entertaining:
Seems the folks in Uzbekistan or Nigeria or wherever may have a new scam. This is just part of several posts by someone on the LCSCA site:
"I HAVE A 2 GUN SET OF PURDEYS 410-12 AND THIS SMITH IS AS NICE OR NICER THAN ANY OF THEM...I'LL TRY GET SOME PHOTOS UP SOON ..
WHEN I BOUGHT THIS 410 30 ODD YEARS AGO IT WAS PART OF A 2 GUN PAIR W/28ga..."
Here's just one of his posts
http://members.boardhost.com/lcsmith/msg/1166628882.html
And why do these folks always use ALL CAPS ?
BTW: it is believed that ONE 28g LC exists.
I offered to post pics for the guy if he'd e-mail them to me and he disappeared.
My deal with the nice daughter of the former minister of finance of Burkino Faso with the 'money problem' worked out really good however (EVEN IF BRAD 6260'S TURKMENISTAN VIAGRA DIDN'T ) |

Revdoc, If you would be so kind as to keep tabs on anyone willing to do business with these jokers, I'd appreciate it. I have a small collection of finely crafted 19 Ga Browning 101 triple barreled shotguns I'd like to foist...er... sell to them. By the way, does that Turkmenistani Viagra contain anything that might have dropped out of the opposite end of a camel's mouth? |

Speaking of missing body parts, I now concider it a good start if I can get out of bed in the morning and just about everything I went to bed with comes with me. At least I still don't have to keep my teeth in a glass at night and my hair on a bed post. Not yet...emphasis on the yet. |
