I was lucky enough to score a 525 with 32" bbls about 3 years ago. I shoot it as my standard for ATA and games. Have mot had one glitch. Probably put 150 rds on slow weeks. 300 on regular week's. |

If you don't mind saying, what did you pay for it? I paid $3,000 for my 30" Grade III Sporting 525 in 16 Gauge, NIB. The box had the original retail price (from the dealer at some earlier date) of $2,895.00. I have since added some chokes an a Browning Green Canvas and Leather Hard Case. I sold another one last year, without the case for $4,000.00.
With regard to firing pins, I just started having problems with light strikes on the bottom barrel. So far it is only happening with one lot number of old Remington Game loads, but I think I am going to have a new pin installed. Never had a firing pin issue with any of the (many) Citori's I have owned over the years and only recently found out that the pins are different between the top and bottom barrels.
