Gentlemen,
My buddy Ken Graft just picked up a real nice Fox A Grade 16 from Guns International.
Unfortunately I am having problems getting a couple of the pictures to post, finally got them to post to the 16 forum.
The stock on this Fox A Grade is just fantastic! A serious American Classic 16 well worth owning. Like to have this gun in my own double gun collection for sure.
Congrats to Ken on a fine purchase!

Hayseed,
No double gun is to pretty to be used, I bird hunt with them each and every season. I try to purchase another good double gun, each time I get a new gun dog pup. Maybe I can grab this beautiful 16 gauge Fox A Grade from Ken eventually, he does buy and sell a lot of good guns at the Shooting Star Gun Shop that he owns.

Top L.C. Smith 1898 #2 20 gauge sleeved for 28 with Sir Joseph's highest Grade Damascus Barrels, under a 1910 16 gauge L.C. Smith 00 with Krupp Barrels, both guns were Special Ordered and have been used every year to bird hunt. With the new 2" Spreader shell, the guns preform incredibly well.

20 gauge Smiths weren't available until 1907. |

Was speaking figuratively. Be much easier to use a fine gun like that if I didn’t buy it new. Would pain me to put the first mark on it.
I didn’t think you shot modern manufactured shotguns? I have noticed your love and appreciation for vintage guns.

No argument here. He’s probably forgotten more about fine shotguns and grouse hunting than I will ever know. |
