There is absolutely nothing wrong with shotgun assembled from the Numrich receivers. I have built a couple of them for myself, my wife and my daughter using those receivers, as well as have friends that do.

The seller here is offering the best of both worlds in the Ithaca 37 realm, ie: a receiver that takes interchangeable barrels, configured with the highly desirable
early stock and forearm profiles.

My favorite hunting gun (16ga of course) is built exactly like this, in the same way on a Numrich receiver and it has taken its share of rabbits, squirrels and pheasants.

Just adding my 2 cents in here in case folks are a little hesitant.

I would go over to the shotgun forum site and let them know you have this for sale. Post a link back to here, or advertise it on that site also.

The price you are asking is quite appropriate considering that a buttstock goes for over $100.00

Might add I've purchased from him on several occasions, good guy to deal with.
