Bliss found a woodcock you must have missed.

Go Bliss! I deliberately let that one go. Did you see the note it was carrying for you?

Spring time in PA, got to love it. It was my second and really important training session when I lived in Central PA. Tom |

I must say that despite how pretty an English setter looks on point with all the flowing feathers on the tail blowing in the breeze, nothing looks more bedraggled than a wet, muddy setter. However, any dog pointing a bird is beautiful to his handler. |

Hey Gil, I saw the note but it was too muddy to read. |

Where I work my dogs I usually see a few woodcock and lots of snipe. This year I have not seen either and it is really too late for the woodcock. They usually pass through when there is still snow on the ground.
Glad to hear you found one that your friend left you.
Good Hunting,
Mike |

Gentlemen,
Ryman Setter dogs are beautiful no matter clean or dirty, the dirty Ryman dog is the gun dog doing his job, the clean one's are just mere show dogs.
Good picture Rick!
