| < 16ga. Ammunition & Reloading ~ Green Dot or Unique in WCF Hull 7/8 oz |

| I can't find any data for GD in a WCF hull. Alliant listed a 19 gr Unique 1 oz load with the wwaa wad and w209. I know I can do the same with 7/8 oz but wonder if there is a GD load the would be better (cleaner)? |

| I have been using 16 gr. of Green Dot with a Win 209 primer and the Claybuster WAA16 wad for my WWCF hull 7/8 oz. loads. It's a mid level load, about 1200 fps and far from maxed out. |

| Thanks Wyo! That's the one I was looking for. I assume very light pressure on the wad and no filler? |

| No filler. Seems like pressure was in the 9,000 psi zone. |

I sent in some Green Dot loads for testing to Tom Armbrust over 10 years ago.
WWCF case, CCI 209, 16gr. Green Dot, R16 wad, 7/8oz. lead shot. 1200 fps & 8650 psi.
Also had the same load tested in the black Rem game load case which had very similar results.
The loads I had tested can be found in the 16ga Reloading Group spreadsheet.
I am now loading the same exact load as WyoChuckar and feel perfectly safe shooting it. |
