16gg and Wolfchief
I think you both are saying about the same thing but at different ends. But one thing for sure when the big ego's and fat cats worry about the bottom line and not the sharing of profits the one of two things will be the demise of the companies first is the close of the company or second is corruption before the fall. (Invest in you people and everyone will be rewarded.) |

I would pose another question... are any of the gun makers doing anything interesting with regard to the surge in popularity of the 16ga?
I have to agree with 16gg that Remington sure seems to have dropped the ball when it comes to the 1100 and 870 in a small frame 16 ga. This seems like a nobrainer... oh well.
This is kind of why I was asking if anyone was going to SHOT, because usually this stuff comes out at SHOT. Beretta? Browning? Ruger? Benelli (I think it's hilarious that Benelli sponsors a show called "American Birdhunter" where they carry around some of the heaviest and unwieldy guns for upland bird hunting.)
Anyway, any progress from the questions we posed last year? Any follow up?

Unfortunately, Terry (brdhnt) can't make it this year. I'm disappointed, since he gave us a very extensive report on last year's show.
Haven't heard from Larry or Doug. Don't know if they're going.
It sounds like flyline will be stuck in a booth and won't have a chance to canvass the rest of the show for 16ga developments.
Anybody else?

Try a Legacy 20, you'll love it. I'm glad Benelli sponsors "AB," I only wish the other makers would come up with related stuff also, and that Benelli would add an ID 16 AL in one or another of their lines/companies. |

Correct, Foursquare, I'll be tied up at my booths the two days that I am there, but will try to nail down some people to see what their thoughts are on 16ga introductions. Have a list of catalogs that I need to pick up. In the meantime, if there are any 16ga. guys that want to go, I do have a couple extra badges (don't tell anyone) that I can donate to the cause to get you in........ |
