They are still there, but not speedy.

Go for it while you can.

Thanks! I guess this is sort of my informal poll Smile

"Poses as a 16, but then turns from the mirror in regret". All joking aside, it's an interesting gun. Perhaps a lace up leather recoil pad can be a temporary solution to the L.O.P. Of course, if your heart is set on something else, return it...unless you can make a substantial profit then buy something else nicer than your refund will support. That could take patience though; I'm unsure of how much 14 ga. collector interest there is.

I'm with you. I'm not sure either.

What about some machine shop time to make a pair of chamber adapters to 16? Then it can be a 14 if you find brass hulls; or an over-bored 16 the rest of the time.

14 gauge .769 base .754 mouth
16 gauge .740 base .720 mouth

.029 base and .034 mouth

divide by two and you get .0145 and .017

VERY thin adapters, less than masking tape

Not a drop in like a 28 in a 16. I was thinking press in soft steel turned to match a chamber casting then chamber ream to 16ga, Like restoring a classic chainsaw cylinder that doesn't have aftermarket support...

YUP, I understand !!
Gotta restore them to a useful arm Smile
Wonder if the extractors will catch
the 16 gauge rim?

They don't. A 16 slips right past them. I'm shipping it back today for a refund. I could mess with it, but when it comes down to it, I'm just not in love with it. Wink

Super cool 14ga here.. and you don't even have to mess with brass shells:

Uncle Dan,

Just curious, did you ever return the 14 gauge gun, and get you money back?
