A friend of mine sent me these two images of a Parker sxs hoping I could help him identify the engraver. I know nothing about PArker shotguns or engravers so I was hoping one of you learned people would have some information. It is a 16 ga but I have no idea the grade or frame size etc. I do think this is very likely (almost undoubtedly) a refinished shotgun.
Thanks,
James |

Looks like someone gussied up a VH-/VHE-Grade Parker Bros. Just leaving the original zig-zag border engraving and filling in with some scroll. I don't recognize the signature. |

Researcher,
If you are not familiar they must be obscure. Thanks for the reply. I found one engraved S&W pistol signed CRONN but the style of the sig was completely different and they did not provide any additional info.
Skeettx,
Thanks for the cross post. It has been a long time since I have been on double gun. I much prefer this site for multiple reasons. I doubt that he has done any research or contacted the Parker Collectors. I will ask though.
Thanks,
James |

The Parker site would be the place to go. |
