Just thought I'd share . I just picked up my second Philly Fox CE 16 with 30'' tubes .
The first had a single trigger and this new to me one has double triggers . Both have around 14" LOP so off to Dan Rossiter , Custom Stocks and Steel , they go . I need a 15"LOP . Dan will completely redo these guns to original condition with exhibition wood.
Dan has done several projects for me and I have been very happy . I'm not a technoid or I'd post a couple pics . Probably looking at a good year and a half or more for completion . To say I'm ecstatic is an understatement .
The Fox is my gun of choice . |

Congrats on your new find. My 16 ga Fox Special has 30" barrels and although I bought the gun because of it's modern stock dimensions, I find I really enjoy shooting those 30" tubes. Sounds like you are going to have a real treasure when you get the gun back from restoration and re-stocking. You need to learn how to post pictures; remember the forum rule that if we don't have pictures, it never happened. More gun porn! |

Nobody cares about you buying yet another Fox old man. Please just go away. |

Do you have a stick of wood picked out for this CE yet or are you using a blank from Dan's stock?
P.S.- You better get that knee sorted out... If I have to choose between carrying you or the Fox you're toting out of the woods this autumn, you'll be drawing the short stick. |

Al seeing how you and Tut keep a fair amount of money coming into "The Valley" with Dan, here are a couple of your pictures, hope you don't mind.
Now don't forget to post pictures when Dan is done with his magic |
