This gun would be a present for my adopted son that recently became.a graduate of the turfgrass school at Clemson university. We rabbit and quail hunt as well as sporting clays together. He loves old guns. I need help finding a nice gun. We are looking at all gauges but since this is a 16ga forum,it would seem appropriate to limit the search to A5 16`s. Any and all help appreciated. Thanks, Ken-864-617-2550- kmurray68@gmail.com |

Hi Mr. Beagleman,
I recently have spent a lot of time combing through the auction sites looking for the right 16 A5. I found one I'm very pleased with that is a 1947 model. You specified specific years of interest. What other characteristics would be preferred? Such as LOP, BBL length, ribbed or not, grade 1, or 2. Price point, Etc. |

L.O.P- will be addressed with a pad without cutting the stock.
Barrel- 26 or 28.
Ribbed- either
Grade- any
Price- the amount im willing to pay depends on the quality of the gun. Im not paying for closet queen collector piece. This gun will be used, but i dont want a beat up rusty pipe.
Wahoo, I am not in a rush. The right gun will show up eventually and when it does I will buy it. Thanks for questions. Im having fun looking. Any help is always appreciated. Ken |

Wahoo, I have forwarded those to my son saturday for his scrutiny. Both would work. Thanks for the concern and help! I like both guns! Which of the 2 do you prefer? |

I have a Belgian A5 with the Euro short chamber. Easily lengthened and priced accordingly. Somebody refinished the stock albeit just so-so. I will sell it cheap. Contact me ASAP for more info. I like this gun but have too many guns.
