Gentlemen,

Long ago I traded my Browning 16 gauge O/U on one of my fine L.C. Smith double guns. The article by Greg McReynolds in the Sept/Oct SMM has me considering a modern Fausti Class SLX or a Rizzini Aurum 16 gauge O/U, even the new Savage/Stevens 555 Enhanced caught my eye.

Real nice 16 gauge article by Greg Reynolds. - Definitely check it out.

Can’t believe what I just read. Not sure I can picture Dave with anything in his hands that’s not a side by side.

hayseed,

Everybody is young and foolish at one time! I still have a few O/U guns in the gun safe, hard for me to give up 28 gauge guns that shoot well both in the field and on the clays course. They mostly get used for Grouse Dog training these days.

Got to admit this is more to my liking.

Dave,
You know the old saying, If God had meant man to shoot a O/U he would have oriented our eyes that way. Very Happy

Nice looking gun.

Good Hunting,
Mike

Perhaps...but it's a topsy turvy world now and sometimes you have to compensate! Maybe I need a 16 ga. O/U too.
